Let us walk you through our design process
We approach our custom design process utilizing the same steps as
MossCreek Designs:
Step 1: On Site Review
The first step of every project is an onsite
review. At the home site, we review the opportunities and constraints
that the site affords to the project. We also review the overall
project objectives and how each issue such as wind, sun direction,
views, and slope affect them.
Step 2: Creating Plans and Elevations
Following the Site Review the next step is to get away with the
homeowner to a quiet spot and begin blocking out the design. Working
together, the homeowner and our team begin the process of taking
the project from a dream to a reality. At the end of a long day,
we typically have a complete set.
Step 3: Further Refining the Design
After returning back to the office, our team
continues working with a homeowner to further refine the design.
New drawings can be e-mailed, faxed or over-nighted to a client
for quick response.
Step 4: Preparing Construction Documents
Once the concept designs are approved, construction
documents are prepared for the project. Drawings are prepared in
AutoCAD to assure the highest level of technical accuracy. Your
General Contractor will use these construction documents to create
a road map to a successfully completed home.
